How to set up Shiprocket for courier delivery

With Shiprocket connected, you book a courier from any order in one click, print the shipping label, and your customer gets live tracking. Returns can be picked up from the customer too. You pay Shiprocket for each parcel from a prepaid wallet, and cash on delivery money is sent to your bank.

Step 1: Sign up on Shiprocket

1. Open app.shiprocket.in/register.
2. Fill in the form and verify your mobile number with the OTP.
3. Answer the short questions about your business and how many orders you send.

Step 2: Add your business details and KYC

1. Enter your business name and brand name, upload your logo and add your address. These are printed on your shipping labels.
2. For KYC, upload a selfie, then either your GSTIN (Express, faster) or a clear photo of your PAN card (Manual).
3. Add your bank account so cash on delivery money is sent to you.

Step 3: Add your pickup address

1. Go to Settings → Pickup Addresses and add the place couriers should collect from: your shop, home or godown.
2. Give it a short name you'll recognise, like “Shop” or “Godown”. You'll pick it in Beecart later.

Step 4: Recharge your wallet

Shiprocket takes the courier charge for each parcel from your wallet when you book it. Recharge in multiples of ₹500. A ₹500 start covers your first several parcels.

Step 5: Create an API user for Beecart

Beecart signs in to Shiprocket with a separate “API user”, not your normal login. This keeps your main password private.

1. In Shiprocket, go to Settings → API → Configure.
2. Click Create an API User.
3. Enter an email that is different from your Shiprocket login. Tip: if you sign in with name@gmail.com, use name+api@gmail.com. Emails to it still land in your normal inbox.
4. Set a password, then click Generate API Credential.

Optional: instant tracking updates

The Shiprocket card in Beecart shows a webhook URL and token. In Shiprocket, open Settings → API → Webhooks, switch it on and paste both. Tracking then updates the moment the courier scans the parcel. Without it, tracking still refreshes every couple of hours.

Common questions

• What does a parcel cost? It depends on weight, distance and the courier; Shiprocket shows the price before you book. Beecart adds nothing on top.
• How does cash on delivery money reach me? The courier collects it and Shiprocket sends it to the bank account you added, on its remittance schedule.
• Beecart says my Shiprocket details are wrong. Make sure you used the API user email and password from Step 5, not the email you sign in to Shiprocket with.
